Bradford’s Ministry of Food is a centre where community groups and local people can get hands on cooking experience and friendly advice on recipes, ingredients shopping, nutrition, equipment, local and seasonal food, and how to make tasty simple meals on a tight budget.

What can Ministry of Food offer me?

•Learn the skills that will enable you to cook quick, healthy and cost effective meals for yourself and your family.
•Courses will teach you the basic cooking skills – chopping, frying, roasting, baking – and introduce a range of fresh ingredients from raw fish and meat to herbs, spices and seasonal fruit and vegetables.
•Gain knowledge about nutrition, food hygiene and healthier cooking techniques.
•Increase your confidence in a fun, ‘no pressure’ environment.
•Courses are led by professionally qualified staff, trained to teach the course by Jamie Oliver’s food team.
