Brief outline of services provided:
The Holme Wood Community Council has been working to serve local people for over 20 years. We aim to raise the profile of Holme Wood and tackle the issues identified by residents that affect their quality of life.  We strive to improve the facilities, amenities and services for all who live or work in the Holme Wood area.
The Community Council oversees the delivery of the Holme Wood Neighborhood Action Plan which consists of six themes:Crime and community Safety, Housing and Environment, Older People, Education/young people, Health and Employment and Economy.  The Community Council also produces a bi-monthly newsletter which informs local residents of news and events taking place in their neighborhood.
The Council meets every two months on the second Wednesday of the month at Holme Christian Community Centre, (Madison Avenue).  All meetings are ‘open meetings’ we welcome all local residents and those working in the area to join us.

“Helping you to keep Holme Wood clean and tidy” Holmewood Executive is concerned with environmental issues. Call into the office in the Library and tell us of your concerns. We provide help and support in cleaning ‘grot spots’ and untidy areas. We carry out regular estate walkabouts and everyone is welcome to join in.
