The following medical services are available at Highfield Health Centre between 0800 hrs and 1800 hrs Monday to Friday through a close working partnership between the Practice doctors, Bradford Hospital Trust, Bradford Care Trust and private practitioners.
These services will help to meet the priorities of Bradford South & West Primary Trust and West Yorkshire Strategic Authority.
GP & Practice Nurse Services including the following clinics:
Diabetic Asthma Sexual Health & Contraception, Coronary Heart Disease Blood Pressure & 24 hour monitoring,
Smoking Cessation, Travel Advice, Immunizations, Smears, COPD – Spirometery.
Health Visitor Services including the following:
Breast Feeding Support/Advice Continence Advice and Assessment, Baby Massage, Baby Clinics, Speech & language Programme, Smoking Cessation Advice, Children’s Sleep Disorder clinic, Parenting Programme with CAM’s Post Natal Depression Support.
District Nursing Services including the following:
Continence Assessments Ear Care, Leg Ulcer Management Health Promotion, Palliative Care Elderly Assessment.
Nurse Practitioner Services including:
COPD Common Ailments/First Contact, Children’s Health Education Post Natal, Secondary Care Services.
Outpatient clinics and services:
Podiatry Mental Health Counseling and Mood Assessment Physiotherapy, Chiropody Social Services (Elderly) Chiropractic Psychiatric OPD, Falls Assessment Wound Care, Sexual Health & Contraception, Epilepsy.
