Burning our money
As some of my reader will know not all village councillors are the same. You can look at Bradford town centre and think there is no regeneration but a proposed park instead of a town centre we call a city centre. We can take attacks from councillors who criticise the elements of our local community, far removed from where we are. The regeneration of Bradford has failed many people with the Christmas continental market packing up early and many a boarded up shop window in the town centre. The trouble is after the recession, these councillors in these far removed places will be wanting the expansion of Holmewood and Tong to build 10,000 homes on our land rather than in their own backyard. Please vote in our poll and email us at info@holmewood.org to suggest other ways the council should save money or to simply contact us.
